The Madrid Book Fair once again welcomes us to the wonderful Retiro Park, for its 85th edition, our twelfth, in this space where we feel, once again, part of this great family and where, for 17 days, we share the experiences of visitors and exhibitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are repeating last year's slogan: \u00abPUENTE VIESGO, WHERE YOUR BOOKS ALSO BREATHE.\u00bb This slogan links the centuries-old tradition of thermal waters with the tradition of culture, which is implicit in the spa, as various cultures since antiquity have used thermal waters (called bathhouses, spas, odeons, etc.) as meeting places and centres for the diffusion of culture, alongside the physical care of the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

E\"\"In this edition, the poster, which will be the visible face of the entire organisation, is the work of Miguel Pang and is structured as a choral scene that brings together multiple reading figures and refers to the thematic focus of this edition, which is HUMOUR. According to Eva Or\u00fae, Director of the Book Fair, this poster \u00abis pure humour and... love for books and for El Retiro. In other words, Pure humour and love for the Fair<\/strong>\u00bba reflection that we love and with which we fully agree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Friday 29 May until Sunday 14 June, Balneario de Puente Viesgo's own staff will be present to provide full information on the services offered by this thermal establishment in Cantabria, specifically in Puente Viesgo, declared the \u00abMost Beautiful Town in Cantabria\u00bb in 2008. This town combines a relaxing and spectacular natural landscape crossed by the River Pas with cultural richness in the Monte Castillo complex, home to four caves declared UNESCO World Heritage sites, making it a unique location worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening hours for the Puente Viesgo Spa ticket office will be Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of\u00a0Friday 29 May<\/strong>, and until the \u00a014 June<\/strong>, you can visit us at our stand, where we will share information about the thermal waters, their properties, the services and treatments we offer, as well as various accommodation promotions for the summer, with discounts of 15%or 10%. Likewise, as good ambassadors of the region, we will inform you about the tourist resources of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This cultural event, unique and singular in Madrid, turns the city into a showcase for new publications, with authors meeting readers directly, providing a unique opportunity to see your favourite writer, discover new authors and their works. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the success of previous editions, we are once again celebrating a new Short Story Competition at the Balneario de Puente Viesgo. This is the IV edition, promoting culture through a short story competition. The stories should be related to the Balneario de Puente Viesgo, its waters, its surroundings, on any theme. Bases lodged in annex <\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like last year, our #RinconesDeRelax sun loungers are back inside the marquee, where you can take a break and\"\"during the fair and participate in the draw for a weekend stay for two people at the spa, either by taking a photo and sharing it on social media or by completing a coupon. Bases lodged in annex<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
