An oriental-inspired ritual: Sperience Asian

Let yourself be carried away to the heart of Asia and immerse yourself in the serenity of the tea ceremony. Sperience Asian is a ritual that seeks to harmonise body and mind, transmitting that balance and calm that only the Far East knows how to offer.

This body treatment of 50 minutes combines exfoliation with an energetic massage based on specific pressures that go all over the body.

The process begins by applying an exfoliating body scrub gel with upward and downward movements on the legs, abdomen, décolleté, arms and back. This exfoliation not only removes dead skin cells, but also prepares the skin to better absorb the nutrients and moisture that follow. After the exfoliation, which is removed in the shower, a deep, relaxing body massage begins. The massage uses alternating pressure techniques that work their way through the body, stimulating circulation and helping to release accumulated tension.

The products used in this ritual of Germaine de Capuccini are formulated with natural ingredients such as rice, sesame and soybean oils, enriched with matcha tea extracts, known for their nourishing, antioxidant and moisturising properties. This contributes to smooth, velvety soft, luminous skin with a very special natural glow.

Delicate care for your face: Aromacup Facial Treatment

As part of the Thermal Charter of the Puente Viesgo Spa, the space Special ALQVIMIA has established itself as a place where the senses find calm: stimulating perfumes, exclusive textures and rituals that connect body and mind.

The new Aromacup Facial Treatment by Alqvimia is an experience of 85 minutes designed to care for the face in depth with a sensorial, delicate and highly effective approach. A detox ritual that combines manual techniques, facial cupping (cupping massage), aromatherapy and natural active ingredients to revitalise and balance the skin. Its ingredients include carefully selected natural oils that stimulate collagen production and provide extra vitamins A, C and E, as well as essential fatty acids omega 3 and 6.

The treatment begins with a moment of deep breathing, accompanied by rosewood essential oil, to connect with a sense of calm right from the start. The face and décolleté are then carefully cleansed with a gentle ylang-ylang emulsion, and an orange blossom facial toner is applied to refresh and balance the skin.

The exfoliation is performed with a peeling of high quality natural ingredients with rosehip seed powder and walnut shell, along with essential oils of grapefruit, rosewood, lemon and lavandin that offer deep cleansing and visible cell renewal.

After the exfoliation is removed, nourishing oils are applied, and the facial cupping, a millenary non-invasive Chinese technique that uses suction cups to improve circulation, drain liquids, prevent expression lines, tone and sculpt the skin, as well as relax muscles, illuminate the face and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This technique is accompanied by drainage manoeuvres in an upward direction, enhancing the absorption and effectiveness of the products applied. This is followed by a manual drainage that enhances the decongestive and revitalising effects.

To seal the treatment, two different masks are applied: an algae mask with anti-wrinkle action on the face (enhanced with grapefruit and rosewood essential oils) and another one specifically for the neck and décolleté.

Finally, after removing the masks, the skin is toned with orange blossom water and the final care is applied: eye contour and a final application of essential oil to leave the skin perfectly balanced, luminous and nourished.

It is especially indicated for dull skin, with fluid retention, congestion or signs of fatigue, such as bags and dark circles under the eyes. It is not recommended in cases of active rosacea, inflammatory outbreaks, open lesions, infections or after recent medical treatments such as fillers or tightening threads.
