LOCATION
The natural spring with mineral-medicinal properties used in our Spa is located on the right bank of the River Pas, in Puente Viesgo Village.
The fountainhead appears in tertiary lands referred as “mancha eocénica cantábrica”
COMPOSITION
There are mineral spring waters with mid-mineralization (1343mg/l at 110ºC) with a predominance of chloride ions (70,234 mval%), sodium (74,773 mval%) and calcium (19,111 mval%). Its content of carbon dioxide reaches 9,7mg/l and it springs at a temperature of 34, 6ºC.
INDICATIONS
Cardiovascular problems: venous insufficiency, maleolar oedema, varicose veins, high blood pressure and intermittent claudication among others.
Upper respiratory tract: rhinitis, sinusitis, laryngitis, tracheitis and several throat infections such as pharyngitis.
Rheumatology: rheumatic disorders (articular and muscular problems), arthritis, osteoporosis, post-trauma consequences.
Psychosomatic problems: anxiety, depression, phobias.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Infectious process at acute phase.
Oncological processes.
Decompensate cardiopathy.
