Hiking Route “Pico Capía”
Route from the town of Puente Viesgo the Capía Peak
It is a return path. It starts on the road leading to the castle Cave, CA-703. A little over a km another road goes to the right. Follow the road to a junction with another local road up from Vargas. Here turn left, always rising. When we are reaching the top of the asphalt, is a track on the right. From here about 2 kms to the top, where there’s a high meadow in a few meters before the Cross along the geodesic.
The Pico Dobra has an altitude of 605 m and is located at the boundary between the municipalities of Torrelavega, Viesgo Bridge and San Felices de Buelna. His ascension through another route cataloged (PRS48) starting from Viérnoles is also possible.
Ascension with high percentages, but with breaks. The largest stretch relentlessly with high percentages is a mile midway.
